Consuming Indignation

I curse the daylight, awaken screams
Paralyzing grip of anger, that haunts my dreams
Cold realization, engulfing rage
Bury my thoughts inside my mind, and lock them away
Beloved darkness, come kill the pain
Combusting waves ignite me, I burst into flames
The outstretched hand, clenched upward to the sky
In solemn desperation, consuming indignation

Hellbent destruction, its slow decay
Now my mind fills with torment, begins to fray
Your absent presence, salt in my wound
A bitter pill to swallow, end comes too soon
Failed comprehension, pushed to the brink
Slowly I sink

Another sunset dies, the emptiness takes hold
Open up my eyes to see, a world so cold
Beyond the reasoning, this hell became my home
Agony rises to the surface
