Forever Winter

Cold
Dark
Frozen
Soul

The ground is barren
Cold air piercing my lungs

I drift away
To my non-existent reality

Feeling numb
All alone I cry
Withering into nothing

I am left wandering in the cold
Distressed...
Broken.
In pain...
Lifeless.

These arctic winds
Carry me along this path
Where the darkness inhabits

The shadows will continue...
To haunt me
To torment me
To torture me
Until my last breath

Wandering in the snow
I am feeling numb
I am fading away
I am losing myself

The cold air
Surrounds me in isolation
No where to go

I just want to lie down
Beneath the ground
Where it is warm
