Like a viewing of a light
Poured into a darkened well
There's a thing working
on your soul
You fell but don't comprehend

The light of your contemplating
Tumbling into the deep, dark well
Dark creating courage
Your light is not unneeded

Warm power hides under emotion
You are not prey to yourself
My faith is you'll triumph
from inner torment
You defeat, again
your melancholic times

Alone in darkness
wrapped in your cloak
You are not prey to yourself
You startle yourself
You startle yourself

But in the end dark emoting
Swept away by your better self
And hope prevails at last
As your final sanctuary
Let us say nothing more
You will find your hope
