Tangled & spinning, can't see at all
Lost in regret of what I can't forget
Time has passed, I'm still upset
Confused by myself - I think I need help
Persisting beyond the reason itself
Is the same as a choice to complain
The purpose of living -
-Just push through the pain

Why can't my brain escape my past
Haunting moments mistakes always last
In time the wounds will close
You'll be left with the scars you chose
Intending to let all of this go
Instead - I spin it, and twist it, and take it home
Internal struggle, no one knows
Faking, hoping, that my fear won't show.

It's just a waste of time - self-discovery dive
I already know that I'm out of my mind
Wishing it would all go away
Reflections won't ever change
The value in being pissed at yourself
Embracing how much you feel like hell
Hold on to that - build yourself up
You're only alive by a stroke of luck
