Cat Grass

My owner planted some seeds in a pot
It's weird because he placed it somewhere I could drop
He walked away after placing that object
Sitting on the land of his wide, wide desk
I hopped on his keyboard to look at some seeds
I tried to munch it down but food's what I need
He went after me, I ran
To the kitchen

After a month
The seeds have grown to a generous length for me
Well it's time to destroy
By chewing on the pointy tips of its leaves
It's what I enjoy
It helps me in the aid of digestion
Then he came back again
Can't help it but I'm back in the kitchen
