Over The Years

Over the years I have traveled many lands
Over the years I have come to understand
The down the path of life,
There are joys and there are tears
Many lessons I have learned
Over the years

It seems like many years ago
I packed my bags and had to go
Along manh highways far and wide
To cities I have never see
To countries I have never been
The strangers that I have met became the best friend in my life

Things of silver wings
Have to taken me so far away
To places of great beauty
Neon light as bright as day
But even with good friends around
When I'm all alone
Constanly my mind returns to loved ones and to home
