The blackest of pits
Echoes resound my name perpetually
Since when am I in a hiatus?
The oldest stones won't know the answer
Was it a day or were these millennia?
In chasm's embrace time is not the master

The only constant are the chains that hold me
Venomous bonds hissing long-gone laments
Of my inmates begging for mercy, longing for the past
But they are no more, I'm on my own with the void

I speak the tongues of the dead
The choir of silent thousands
Those who shine for thousand years
High above, deep below, in hollow spheres

One day I will set my feet on barren soil
The one that gave birth to us all
Winds shall bring me the smell of despair
My lash will lick the fear out of sand

A terrestrial hell of everlasting being
Rejoice! in suffering of endless endurance
Hope in reality is the worst of all evils
As it prolongs the torments of man

Under the bright firmament of night
Both the giants of stone and the fragile ones of clay
Will witness redemption through blade and blood
All will be one, razed with no one to remember their existence

A new dawn is yet to come
when my work is done
The sun will spill itself upon tranquil lands
Equilibrium, no mankind

The fire once stolen
Was never meant to be our own
Torn by the claw and beak
A man who has fathomed life
and its cosmic ground
