Eyes of Eventide

How long must I swim against the roaring tide?
All I want is to see the shore again
I've lost my mind, but with eyes of eventide
I see the stars and the sky in which they've lit

The pale moon reflects off of the water I'm in
Orion up above, he guides me as I swim
'Cause it's all these faint lights in life
That give us a reason to live
So, hold on to the small things, or end up abandoned
And cherish each memory which you've had a hand in
If you don't, you'll be stranded with no beacon
To guide you home, and you'll drown with your demons
