Dark shadows dancing on the wall
Dark footsteps coming down the hall
Dark music playing in the rain
Dark thoughts are playing in my brain

Atmosphere charged up with electrons
Splash rivers of mightiness die
Thunderstorm is like the drummers of Hades
Shake my windows
And rattle my mind

Night fever soakin' on my sheets
Light-headed headed for the streets
The ground is floating off my feet
Night coming turning up the heat

Streets are deep with black waters in the midnight
Cars move slow makin' waves as they pass
Biggest men like insects on the pavement
Scurry past ... there's a watch to reply

Tick-tock the clock upon the mantle
Third hand burns the seconds away
I can't remember the meaning of this moment
I can't remember what I wanted to say
