I made so many plans and un-compromised demands all my ducks missed their rows
I felt like a carney juggling so much I about lost my mind
Found no connection and misread directions I was beginning to go blind

Mood swing shifting high and low without a warning or a sign
Ears keep ringing from self doubt singing the saddest song in slow time
I lust for praise I can't get enough oh how it makes me smile
