white--the color that she wore was white
and it was such a magic night--til it changed
now--i realize it wasn't what i thought
she had such a charm but i was wrong--yeah i was wrong

but now here she comes (oh here she comes)
in that heartbreak yellow
making me feel like my heart's breaking in slow motion
i'm an ocean of blue and she's heartbreak yellow

she smiles--and tells you you're the sweetest guy
be careful not to look into her eyes--for too long
she--won't let anyone get too close
she's the kind of girl you know you'll miss the most---when she's gone
