New Front Porch

Standing on my new front porch
Staring at my new neighbors
I don't know what they're doing

I swear that I am leaving soon
Even though I just came home

Woke early feeling restless
To the sound of people screaming
Don't know why they're angry
I wish they weren't angry

The coffee pot sang hello to me
Now I'm craving company
I don't know who to call now
Caffeinated anxious soul

Nestled in the corner
Of Northeast Pennsylvania
I'm just waiting for the day
That they poison the tap water
By blowing up the mountains
Putting chemicals in the water
