In Conclusion

There used to be a time where I could have a moment to myself
And get a tune out of my guitar
And I didn't have to worry about whether it was any good
Or if I had to try harder

Even the words I write have no meaning these days
At least that's what it feels like to me
My brain is overloaded with empty words and thoughts
But all it takes is an intervention from nature

Sometimes you need the world to change
To appreciate the things you already have
A wonderful new family
My beautiful daughter
My doting wife
They'll do anything for me
I'd sacrifice everything for them
