we listen,
to their words of death then scream through little
screens connected trapped inside the net living in prisons
we have never known

lockdown! lockdown! through our darkest hour lockdown! lockdown!
fear the invisible power
we ask,
who here is to blame?
the fearful or the insane? i guess now
we're all the same
'cause if you're human, you're in this game

there'll come a time we ask
ourselves maybe a lockdown is a virus itself?
did isolation save our lives?
