Entombed in Grief

I awake in a blank space.
Nothing here but shattered dreams,
And a canvas where I've painted,
Our faces with the greyest ash.

Empty skies surrounding me,
Where clouds were once our bed.
You awake in another place,
Where you won't remember my name.
Frozen roses adorn my grave,
With creeping thorns of hate.
Though I wish I could be saved,
I've already sealed my fate.

Crucify me till I'm dead,
Like another God, not mine.
As curses circle 'round my head,
Sink your spear into my side.

Nail me to your heart!
Remember me, when I Resurrect in you,
Like The flower of your denial.

Kill me when I emerge.
Bury me in barren earth,
Where the air hangs heavy,
Like fog over a lake of tears.
