Well I've been sneaking into the balcony
Cause I don't fit down on the floor
There was a time I knew you spoke to me
But I don't feel that anymore

And it's a shame now
The way it shakes out
I know my mother's losing sleep each Sunday night

And I would change that
If I knew how to

And that's something I've got to live with

Well I still sit up in that balcony
Cause I can't handle too much more
Looking down on how I'm supposed to be
But I don't know how they're so sure
