Providence

I wander lonely in the rain,
It helps to understand the pain I feel.
The need in me is like the sea.

I don't remember yesterday,
It sometimes better left
That way you see,
I've closed the door to a life before.
These memories are lost to me.

And the people that I see,
Now mean nothing much to me.
And the providence you gave,
Is the only thing I'll save.
As I look towards the sea.

But the loneliness I've known,
And the truth that I've been shown.
Take me where I need to be.
