I've waited all this time for you
instead of feeling what is true.
And now you're finally gone to rest.
I tell you "I always did my best"
I've waited long enough for you.
I'm sorry for all that I've put you through,
that's not what I wanted to do.
And now I raise up my hands at last
to tell you it's all just in the past.
But how do we really move on?
That side of me will never be gone.
And right before we end our trials
