Every day I wake up
No wiser than when I went to sleep
But still I search for meaning
In every hour I spend asleep

Now the alarm is ringing
Wake up dreamer wake
Just another night in the dark

I had a dream last night
A message from the deep
I tried to understand
But still I find myself asleep
