And wondered how the hell we're gonna pay

Sometimes you lose when you're about to win
But if you let the universe in

Your mind can easily get the better of you
Despairing and preparing for the worst
You lay awake at night believing you're cursed

We can't control what has gone before
No way to tell what life has in store
The only thing that I know for sure is
