Vultures, swarm a stench
Making, their circles
Such a, feeble living world
A prostrate, mass

Forevermore, I'm calloused
Riddled through the pages
Forgotten names
Cover to cover, is a guilt
A feeling a promise
Of purpose thrown away
You drink from a poison
The rest will fade
