Your Water

Your water sucks the air right out of me. Your nature pulls the pride right out of me. No corner space to hide for all to see. The deeper we go down the less we see. I miss the waves that fell on top of us. The bottom holds on to my feet again. Your silence folds in our defeat again. Nothing can mean enough to use your friend. We're never coming up for air again.
