Reliquary

What I have encased I carry, inside it haunts of
Necessity, and knocks around in suspension, always
Attached, this rope, which scrapes the nape of my neck

Will never be mine to loosen. it hangs effaced, never
Fading, and though I forget you, an ember from those
Ruins burns in that box
