Northern Crown

I fell
And gazed through the firmaments mirror
Devouring the beauty that the night sky hides

I drowned
In its endless recollection
Searing thoughts of a journeying soul
A passing rhyme

Torched by the northern flames of the sun
The pale breath of this lonely winter night
All I have ever dreamt this nothingness soon hides
Weaving the saddest song of all

Silent
As the wind that blows
On the hearse of a nightly storm
A song of sleeping waves
Under the white bed of snow
