He Met Mujina

One night, at a late hour, he was running up the Kii-no-kuni-zaka
When he perceived a woman, crouching by the noat,
All alone and weeping bitferly
Hearing that she eintended to drown herself,
He stopped to offer her any assistance
Or consolation.
In his power she appeared to be a slight and graceful person.
'O-Jochu!' He exclamed approaching her
'O-Jochu!' Do not cry like that...
Tell me what the trouble is and if there be anuway to halp ypu...
Then that O-Jochu turned around,
Dropped her sleeves and stroked her face
She had no eyes or nouse or mouth
And he screamed and ran away.
Up Kii-no-kuni-zaka ran, never turning back to dark
All was empty before him, he met Mujina, the faceless!
