I'm lost on the high street again
Looked down on by the signs
Plastic and glass don't break their stare
No matter how you try

Forget my life away from these
These streets paved with denial
Pipe dreams and peer pressure
I want to get out

I could just give in right now
Start life of compromise
But someone holds me back and says
It's going to be all right
