Pipe Dream

Well I'm not 6'3"
But I'll stand on my toes
I'll be the guy that sings
Cause you're my English rose

But you wear rose-tinted glasses
You never know how it feels
what you're getting is a facade

But I'll sit with this lump in my throat
Hoping I don't choke come tomorrow

Taking pictures together at my show

Should I go chasing daisies
Where daisies never grow
Really that don't mind me much
Cause she's so colorful

With her violet emotions
And her ruby red dress
But looking into those green eyes
Is a shot right in my chest
