Deadbeat

this which is hindering my inclination that what i see everyday looks okay
should i try and block out all the voices that doubt that what i write can rhyme in time just fine

so many people that seem to be better than me at communicating all their feelings
this is for those who pretend to know when what they want to express comes out okay

which is what i'm concerned with
this is that which makes me feel
which is what we're left to remember
this is that fish i let go

i've just been idle for so many years 'cause i can't seem to overcome so many fears
maybe one day i'll leave and put all this behind but i'm worried that i'll just mess up what i find
