Pack the essentials
I'm planning to leave tonight.
Must be tonight ...
Mile after mile under darkness
with tired eyes and tired pride.

Please sir I'm asking for help
won't you change your mind.
But no reply ...
Lay back and look at the stars;
hope for better times and drift away.

As a child you always have someone;
go and play and spend the day out in the open sun.

Use your time to get to where you want.
No disguise 'cause this will send you right back to the start.

I've made mistakes but so has everyone.
In this place theirs much to say but there's no need for guns.

If I awake will this all go away?
If I awake will it end the suffering?
