Dead Space Between the Stars

Between the stars I see emptiness
A hole in the heart of the universe
I wish to teach others of its beauty
Balance will be restored
As the hunt begins
For the most dangerous game of all

In this quiet stream we'll all float forever

Waiting out creatures trying to hide

Day two we've learned we're too small to win
Creating a wasteland, calling it a paradise
Marking a mass grave as a memorial
Look close and see I am what should've never been
