North Coast

I'm standing on the North Coast
looking west over the ocean.
I'm here alone now, thinking
my way back home.

light as sea foam,

to the light green sea.
You will be there in the setting sun,
the blood is flowing from the red horizon.
The burning sky is mine, it gives me quiet peace,
your naked veins appear in the evening's sleep.
But now the western sky is mine, and mine alone
and only I can see your body in the sky.
