Awakes at 6.00am
Turns the heater on
Then makes a cup of tea
For three

Warms himself inside
Then hopes for another ride
So he won't have to catch
The bus

Steps onto the porch
Inspecting the rotten floor
Reminds himself one day
He'll have more
