Inertia

fine tuned the focus
in retrospect, I blurred the lines
and barely almost, I tried to write
but I couldn't read

we're going somewhere
some place or here, some time or now
we're going nowhere, then no we're not
i've changed my mind

it seems that dreaming
is just a thought that you can see
i'm not pretending, I never do
I never did

it seems that something I tried to see got left behind

and maybe I'll wake and be the same
with no way to break it in again
