My Spirit Blossoms

When sorrow shoots her darts
They stick into me
Like a song in your head that has
Overstayed its welcome
A visceral culmination
Of knots and snakes
In the pit of my gut
And butterflies
Pouring out of my mouth

I have said enough
Everything I need you to know
Will be here forever
I want to listen to understand
To learn more of why I love you so much
I get jaded from writing all of these poetics
Let's just sit here and be for a while

Once our life together here is over
I hope we can spend the rest
Of our infinite lives traversing everything
And be with all that is love
And be with all that is light
