Forgiveness

Pull the bed sheets from underneath the stairs
Right there, right where you said I'd tremble and
Stare at the vast unforgiving spirit lurking there
But it takes time to recognize

Forgiveness in her likeness
Forming shape inside the floor

Unfair is the mountain cold as the television airs
Nothing completely void of a spirit there
