I see bones, twist until they snap
Fissures rupturing flesh
Cries of desperation, they go unheard

When did my mind lapse?
Was it lost long ago?
Or will emerge, buried
Deep beneath dissimulation

Veracious intentions befouled by lies
This crooked vessel will not uphold
Impulse control

I have arrived this way
I have no other option
Coexisting within my mind
Despondent to my volition

The single, pure, instinctive will
