Remember how we used to dream of a future, of today?
Where cars could fly,
Homes in the sky,
Moonshots of a world changed.

Today was much better then,
So futuristic, so prime.
Instead we live a future primitive.
Damn our chastity of mind!

Still hooked on:
Hatred, the violence, racism, the silence, division
No surprise, we dreamt lies. Be certain, this wasn't the vision.

If not the vision then why?
