Modern day king living in peace
Sees all the people who live underneath
He laughs in amusement
Why should he care
Our world is confusion
No need to be fair

I wade through the torture
I go through each day
But he has his fortune

We live in dismay
Maybe the life source
Revolves around power
But strength with no taste
Is nothing but sour

Why die slow
Why can't he know
Life goes by fast
So our love has to last

Don't live in fear pray for who's near
When life is behind you
You 've shed all your tears
Your brain is your sword
Your flesh is your shield
And modern day king
Doesn't know what to deal
