I thought I had enough time, on this day
Stopped on a dime, let me drift away
I think I thought
I think I thought a lot
Carry me through this decade
Am I turning a new leaf, or seizing the day
Am I moving forward or am I pushing away

All life’s spoils, and all its rewards
Can’t carry me through, all these closed doors
Reflect on this nature , let it be a test
When I lay my head
I want to put it to rest
