Looking at the stars
Listening to the silence
Of the night skies
Scanning every quadrant
Waiting for a sign
Directing our telescopes
Up into the night
A message from the stars
A voice from another world
A pattern of waves in space
Sign of alien intelligence
Shooting away through space
For millions and millions and millions of years
A trap to lure us
A ruse of war?
Or a simple greeting
From out so far?
We must take the risk and find out, travel to the stars
