let him try to take you home again
she tries to remember all that he said
her watch slips right off as she's trying to replace
all the names of the faces of the ones who never really cared.
they'll wish someday she'd call or write
to say "i dont miss you, im just fine"
she'll spend her life just trying to forget all their names
and tries to keep in place all the things that
made her happy when they didn't mean a single thing
ain't it funny how messy life gets?
