Chit chat and a cigarette
Sometimes it's easy to forget
We're still the people that we used to be.

But I still have things I've never shared
I guess I never thought you'd care
I just hope you have dreams left to tell me.

And these days you and I don't talk much
I always thought we'd keep in touch
Until I figured there was nothing left to say.

But maybe I was wrong suspecting
