Every direction
Is illuminated

Murkiness
Loiters to the blue
Swamping in
The abyss

The brick, the streets, the masses
Are consumed by
The bark, stalk, and needle
Plunging through the vessel

The only voice is the gust
The only life is the gloom

Murkiness hovers the trench
Underneath the surface
As I crash
Into the abyss

When the true path
Is chosen
I am always adrift
In the gravel
Even when I'm on
The straight and narrow
I swerve
To the dirt
