Personal Vandetta

Misled and strangled by the thought, of this reality,
destroyed by the roads that we have walked,
but standing firmly on our feet, as i look into the sky,
searching for answers,
it seems that what we have inside, is all we can ask for.
are you listening to me?
or am i talking to myself?
my breath was saved for this but I've run out!
the power we hold in our hands,
to trust that everything was going just as planned,
don't let it slip away, don't let the pain take over me,
mistakes that we used to make,
have tried to hold us back like its a fucking
game, what did i do to deserve this, it never ends.
I know we can break the barriers, endlessly we find ourselves,
holding onto tomorrows dreams, all the hatred and the strife,
hides the hatred in my eyes, this is who we are supposed to be.
the power we hold in our hands removes the fear of starting over
again, there is a master plan, but we can hold ourselves against,
the bullshit we face everyday if its the role that we play or
decisions we've made,
it will never hold us back again, we will prevail.
