I renounce the light and hide
While an orchestra begins to surmise

Palm in hand, reverting to type
Precious metals in mercurial eyes
The results a thousand times
show the message is a permanent lie

As you come prepared to follow alike
And with one pounce the light has a power within that shatters divine
