The Raven Speaks

A shadow walks beside me, whispers in my ear
Tells me things I can't escape, things I don't want to hear
The walls are breathing, shaking, are they laughing too?
The raven on my window says
They're coming after you
THEY ARE COMING AFTER YOU
I'm trapped inside this storm, a mind I cannot trust
Every thought's a question, every answer's dust
The raven speaks my name, its voice is sharp and cold
It feels like I'm unraveling, losing all control
I scream into the silence, but the silence screams back
The line between what's real and fake has started to crack
The raven says, "Believe me," its eyes are dark as night
I chase its lies in circles, but there's no end in sight
I'm trapped inside this storm, a mind I cannot trust

The mirror shows a stranger, his eyes are filled with fear
I reach to touch his face, but he just disappears
The raven starts to laugh. It says, "You'll never be free."

Am I the one who's crazy, or is the world haunting me?
The raven spreads its wings, and I fall into the black
No matter how I fight, I can't seem to come back
If you could see my world, the shadows and the screams
You'd know it's not just madness, it's the tearing of my dreams
