Antimatter

The colossal shadow is revealed to be a cosmic entity, an incarnation of antimatter, a devourer of space, hunting Pioneer for repeatedly breaking the time loop. Confused, Pioneer turns his gaze outward and what he sees petrifies him. Hundreds of versions of himself, lifeless and drifting in the vast void of antimatter, appear like ghosts. Their shuttles float aimlessly beside them, their bodies frozen by the cold of space. That's when Pioneer hears his own voice in his helmet, ordering him to retrieve a particle incubator from his shuttle and harvest the antimatter outside his ship. Following the voice, which seems to come from a hallucination, Pioneer feels a strange feeling. Was he doomed to end up like them? Driven by desperation, Pioneer exits his shuttle, entering the overwhelming energy of antimatter, which begins to consume him. With trembling hands, he opens the particle incubator and absorbs some of the antimatter it contains. But his body can't withstand the strain; it begins to collapse under the intensity of the force. In his final moments, he sees another version of himself, appearing in the distance, his shuttle materializing from within the antimatter. This version of him arrives and saves him just in time. Together, they make the decision to leave this obscure region, heading towards the next unknown destination.
