I lock the doors when the sun goes down,
’Cause there’s something strange stalking this town.
Whispers float across the grass,
Long silent limbs, a face like glass.

The dogs all bark across Fresno.

They walk your streets, they float and gleam.

My neighbour, swears it’s just a lark,
Even he stays in when it gets dark.
Apparitions drift across the lawn,
Surveillance cameras catch it all.
