It's A Start

I’ve been staring at the sky
Now the sun is always out when I close my eyes
Memorize in case it all goes dark
Just an image of, but it’s a start
Caught myself inside a cloud
Smashing up against the walls trying to get out
And the sound it caught me off my guard
An atomic bomb inside a shooting star
Everybody’s out here looking for the cure
When they don’t even have the disease
Running circles back to where they were before
‘Til they blow away like ashes in the breeze
My battery is low
I’ll have to let you go
Walked in the ocean in my shoes
Til I found I’d drifted out, surrounded by the blue
I never knew that it could go this far
Choose to sink or swim,
It shouldn’t be this hard
