Only life remembers
time only forgets
Through rays of cosmic embers
I see her silhouette
We feel the distant currents
when stars ignite or die
When we traverse the great abyss
they've all escaped our eyes
Was it just preconceived
created with intent
The fabric that surrounds her
to which all my will is bent
Or did just random particles
colliding in deep space
Become the colours in her eye
the sadness on her face?
Across the eons' grand stage
time composed a score
A symphony of ages
played both after and before
And while the dust is cooling
fate unveils its scheme
A strike of cosmic artistry
has brought her to my dreams
